Terms & Conditions

Operating hours

Our offset plant and customer support work Wednesday to Monday, 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Tuesday is our weekly off for scheduled press maintenance.

Turnaround and dispatch

Standard production turnaround is 24 to 72 hours to dispatch from our Delhi plant, counted in working days from payment and a print-ready file (or design approval, for orders we design).

Once the order is handed to the courier partner, transit time depends on the courier network and the destination pincode. Tracking details are shared on your order page.

Shipping charges

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the packed weight and size of your order and your pincode, and is paid upfront. You can also collect your order free from our plant in Dilshad Garden, Delhi.

For orders placed on WhatsApp or by phone, delivery is extra: by Porter within Delhi NCR, and by VRL Logistics on a to-pay basis (paid on delivery) to the rest of India.

Payment

Orders placed on the website are paid in full at checkout.

Orders placed on WhatsApp or by phone, including calendars: 50% advance to start the job. The balance 50% is paid at dispatch, after we send you a photo of your printed goods before they leave the press. Production starts after the advance and, for orders we design, after you approve the proof.

GST

GST is charged at the rate that applies to each product’s HSN or SAC code, shown on your invoice. Orders delivered inside Delhi carry CGST and SGST; orders delivered to any other state carry IGST only.

Artwork, content and file accuracy

The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of all artwork, text, typography, images, spellings, contact numbers, colours, sizes, quantities and other details provided for printing.

Koncept Prints is not responsible for typographic errors, spelling mistakes, layout problems or omissions in customer-supplied artwork. Please check every file carefully at 100% zoom before ordering.

Design charges and languages

Designing costs ₹300 per page. There is no design charge if you send a print-ready file.

We design in Hindi and other Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi and more), in international languages such as Arabic, French and Spanish, or bilingual, at the same design charge.

Print-ready files

A print-ready file is a PDF at 300 DPI in CMYK, with 3 mm bleed on every side and all fonts outlined (converted to curves).

Past designs and templates

Pictures of past work in our gallery have all client branding hidden. We never copy one customer’s design for another.

Any past design can be used as a starting template: we redo it completely in your brand, with your logo, name, colours, fonts, photos and content.

Copyright and right to use the design

The customer warrants that they own or are authorised to use all copyrights, trademarks, logos, images and text in the artwork supplied, including logos and photos sent to us on WhatsApp or email.

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Koncept Prints, its proprietors and staff against any claim, cost or legal expense arising from the content supplied.

AI-generated designs

Artwork created with generative AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI and similar) is rendered in RGB and often uses smoothing and compression.

When such artwork is separated into CMYK inks for offset printing, differences in edge sharpness, fine detail, contrast and colour saturation can appear compared with a backlit screen. Supply AI artwork upscaled to at least 300 DPI at actual print size.

Final file policy

For orders where you upload your own design, no separate proof is sent. Once your file is uploaded and payment is complete, the file is treated as final and goes straight into pre-press and production.

For orders where we design for you, we share a proof for approval. Printing starts only after you approve it, and the approved proof is treated as final.

No file changes, swaps or cancellations can be accepted once the press run has started.

Colour and printing variation

Printed colours may differ slightly from colours on screens, phones or uncalibrated monitors. RGB artwork is converted to CMYK for printing, which can shift hue, brightness and saturation.

Please supply print-ready CMYK artwork. Small differences between screen and print, and between paper batches and print runs, are normal in offset printing and are not defects.

Quantity tolerance

Offset printing loses some sheets to press set-up, make-ready and trimming. We add buffer sheets to cover this wherever possible.

The delivered quantity may vary by up to ±5% of the quantity ordered (wastage in printing, cutting and finishing). This is standard trade tolerance and is not short supply. Billing is on the actual quantity delivered.

Paper tolerance

Paper weight (GSM) may vary by up to ±5% from the GSM ordered. This is the mill tolerance on every paper and board and is not a defect.

Size and finishing tolerance

Finished size may vary by up to ±5% from the size ordered, from cutting and trimming. This is normal and is not a defect.

Minor variations in creasing, folding, binding, UV, lamination and die-cutting are normal mechanical tolerances and are not defects unless they affect how the product can be used.

Reprints and quality claims

Our guarantee: if the print doesn’t match the proof you approved, we reprint free (within the tolerances above).

Report transit damage or shortage within 48 hours of delivery, with photos (an unboxing video helps).

Errors present in the customer’s file, such as spelling mistakes, low resolution or missing bleed, do not qualify for a free reprint.

Cancellation and changes

Offset jobs are scheduled into paper allocation and the press as soon as payment is received, so orders cannot be cancelled or changed once printing has started. See our Refund Policy.

Delivery inspection

Inspect the parcel when the courier delivers it. Note any visible damage with the courier and report it to us promptly so we can raise a claim.

Overdue payments

For overdue or unconfirmed payments, we may hold production or dispatch, or decline new orders, until the balance is cleared.

Pricing errors

If a price on the website is wrong because of an error, we may correct it. If we find it before printing, we tell you the correct price and you can confirm or cancel with a full refund.

Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural calamities, severe weather, transport disruptions, bandhs, courier hub blockages, power failures and government orders.

Jurisdiction

All disputes arising from any order or service of Koncept Prints are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Delhi.
