The story of Koncept Prints: from Paranthe Wali Gali to your doorstep

How a small press opened in Chandni Chowk in 1955 became Koncept Prints: four generations of the Chopra family, a plant in Dilshad Garden and printing ordered online across India.

Every printing press has a story. Ours begins in 1955, a few years after Partition, in one of the busiest and most famous lanes in Delhi: Paranthe Wali Gali in Chandni Chowk. This is the story of how a small press became a four-generation family business, and why we still check every job as if it were the first.

1955: a press in Chandni Chowk

Mr. Sushil Kumar Chopra started the business in a modest space in Paranthe Wali Gali. Chandni Chowk was, and still is, a market of traders, wholesalers and family shops, and every one of them needed printing: bill books, letterheads, visiting cards, labels and, at the turn of every year, calendars. He built the business on a simple promise that still guides us: understand what the customer needs, get the details right, and deliver on time.

Four generations, one family

The business was carried forward by Mr. Vijay Chopra, who took it into its next chapter as printing changed. The third generation, Mr. Rohit Chopra, brought discipline to production, colour and finishing. Today the fourth generation, Mr. Siddhant Chopra, has joined, bringing online ordering and new ways of working. Mr. Rohit Chopra and Mr. Siddhant Chopra lead the business together.

From Chandni Chowk to Dilshad Garden

As the work grew, the press moved to its own plant in the Dilshad Garden Industrial Area, Delhi 110095. Customers can visit us, talk through their job and pick up their order free. Everything else, from choosing a design to tracking a parcel, can now be done online.

What has not changed in seventy years

• A person checks every file before it is printed, and nothing prints until you approve the proof.
• Prices are shown upfront, per piece, before you pay.
• Every order gets a GST invoice.
• We answer the phone. Call or WhatsApp us from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm (closed on Tuesdays).

Printing, now designed by you

Our online studio lets you pick a design, add your logo and details and see the finished piece before you order: visiting cards, calendars including daily calendars with a thought for every day, pamphlets and much more.
