GST on printing: invoices, GSTIN and claiming input credit

How GST works on printing orders in simple words: what a tax invoice shows, why your GSTIN matters and how a registered business claims input tax credit.

If your business is registered under GST, the GST you pay on printing can usually be claimed back as input tax credit. Here is how it works.

What a GST tax invoice shows

  • Our name, address and GSTIN, and yours if you give it.
  • Each item with its HSN code, quantity, rate and taxable value.
  • CGST and SGST (within Delhi) or IGST (other states).
  • The invoice number and date.

Why add your GSTIN at checkout

When your GSTIN is on the invoice, the purchase appears in your GST records and you can claim the GST as input credit, reducing the tax you pay. Without it, the invoice is a normal consumer invoice.

Do prices include GST?

Our prices are shown before GST so you can compare them easily; GST is added at checkout and shown clearly before you pay. The rate depends on the product and is printed on your invoice.
